The CFE app requires permission to the camera on the user’s device, solely for the purposes of saving images from the app, no information or images are being accessed by Texas CASA, Inc or the CFE app.

Collaborative Family Engagement Mobile Application follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log users when they access the app. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the app, and for gathering demographic information.
Another priority is adding protection for children while using apps. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their child’s app activity.
Collaborative Family Engagement Mobile Application does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on the app, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.
For account holders/app users who complete a CFE tool within the app with a child or person under the age of 18, or a parent or relative of said young person, hereby referred to as participant or app participant, any identifying information including but not limited to their full name or date of birth, should not be inputted into the app. Names and information gathered through the tools in the app should contain only first name or initial, to maintain confidentiality. Identifying or contact information obtained through completing tools in the app should not be stored in the app and instead recorded in accordance with local CASA, CPS or SSCC policies.
